***Applications for the upcoming winter semester 2022/2023 are being accepted now until 15.07.2022***.
Childhood Studies and Children's Rights (MACR) is for anyone who wants to work in the field of children's rights. The program allows you to bring a children's rights approach to the workplace and opens up new ways of working with, for, and about children – theoretically and practically. MACR is offered both fully online and in a blended learning format with face-to-face meetings in Potsdam.
he MACR is a three-semester (1.5 years) postgraduate master's programme. It consists of seven modules and a final thesis. 90 ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) credits are awarded for successful completion.
It focuses on children and their human rights and examines problems and issues affecting children's rights from different disciplinary perspectives.
The students, who come from different regions of the world, also enrich the teaching with their respective educational and work experiences.
The Master's programme is aimed at people from all disciplines with a first university degree and, as a rule, at least one year of professional experience.
Among other things, it enables students to take up professional activities in public and non-public organisations, facilities and institutions at regional, national and international level.
