In Nyagashankara, Rwanda, a water pump powered by solar helps to keep girls at school

Before the water pump was installed, the girls of the community had to walk very long distances to collect the water. Girls are disproportionately affected by the climate crisis. The fight for climate justice is a fight for gender justice.
